I have a really hectic schedule which makes it hard for me to find time. They have been very flexible in accommodating me and I have been attending classes first thing in the morning before work.

16 week curriculum
Sessions follow a 16-week plan that repeats on a loop. You can start any week and catch the rest as it comes around.
New students start with the Fundamentals programme. You learn each move step by step. This helps you build good habits before the sessions get harder.
Adult Jiu-Jitsu
How you move through the belts
Every adult starts at white belt. Each new belt is hard-earned. You will feel proud and more confident each time you move up.
- White About 1 year
- Blue About 2 to 4 years
- Purple About 2 years
- Brown At least 1 year
- Black Ongoing
A rough guide only. How often you train, what you can do on the mat and your coach's decision set the pace.

Common questions
My child will move up an age group soon. Which one should I book?
We usually suggest booking the higher age group. Your child can then keep the same session and friends.
If their size or needs may affect the choice, contact us. We will help you pick the right group.
What if I can only make one session a week?
We recommend two sessions each week. This helps students learn new moves and remember them.
If you can only attend once, contact us. A short-term once-a-week membership may be available.
Do we need the same session every week?
Children keep the same weekly slot. This helps us keep each group at a safe size.
You do not need to book again each week.
Adults can attend any adult session. They do not need to book ahead.
What if I miss a week?
Adults can return at the next session that suits them.
Children cannot usually take another session if they miss one.
Tell us before the session. We may have another time free that week.
Contact us and we will check. Please read our policies for full details.
