Common questions

What if I want to cancel?

No drama. We ask for two full calendar months’ notice and a short exit interview so we can understand what wasn’t working.

If there’s something we can fix, we’d rather know. If you’ve made your decision, we’ll make the process as straightforward as possible.

You can see the full terms in our policies section.

Are there any extra costs?

No. Gradings and promotions are included, so once you have your uniform the monthly fee is all you pay. No surprise invoices.

Can I freeze my membership?

Yes. Life happens and we'd rather you paused than quit.

You can freeze your membership when you need to, whether that's for an injury, a holiday, or just a busy patch.

For the full details on how freezes work, check our membership terms page.

Why does it cost more than a gym membership?

Because it's not really the same thing. A gym gives you equipment and floor space.

We give you a coach who knows your game, training partners who push you, and a skill that actually develops over time.

Most gym members look the same after a year. Most Jiu-Jitsu students are unrecognisable after six months, and not just physically.
